The house is very comfortable, it is part of a stronghold dating
back to 16th Century, called “ I Fontanini” characterized by the
presence of water sources. It is located 45 Km south of Bologna
and Modena, in the Emilia Romagna Apennines, 650 m. /1710 ft.
above sea level. Surrounded by an amazingly charming nature, it
offers a breathtaking view over the valleys and mountains of the
Apennines.
There are 6 hectares of fruit groves, chestnut woods and lawns
to enjoy. The main village of Montombraro, with its shops,
swimming pool and tennis courts is at a walking distance. In the
immediate surroundings there are several restaurants that serve
delicious food and wine. We organize cookery courses for
enthusiastic amateurs, gourmets and anyone who appreciates
food, wine and cooking.
